5 things I wish I knew before becoming a Solutions Architect

There are a few things that I wish I had known before becoming a solutions architect. The first is that the role is ever-evolving. What you know today may be obsolete tomorrow, so it’s important to be constantly learning and growing. The second is that the job requires a lot of collaboration with other teams, so it’s important to be able to work well with others. Finally, it’s important to be a good problem solver, as many of the challenges you’ll face as a solutions architect will be problem-solving-oriented.
